HE The Vice-Chancellor of SUST issues a Decision on Tuition Fees
In consideration of the country’s general economic situation, and in a humanitarian gesture by HE the Vice-Chancellor of SUST, it has been decided to reduce the increase in SUST tuition fees for newly admitted students for the academic year 2013-2014 by fifty percent (50%). The decision has been met with great praise and appreciation from students and their guardians.

The Deanship of Students Affairs is pleased to announce that ATM cards have been issued to students eligible for sponsorship. All concerned students are requested to check their names in the attached statements and refer to the Social Care Office at National Students Support Fund to receive their ATM cards. Students are required to show the following documents upon receiving their cards: registration receipt+ ID card, or a valid University ID card (Statements attached).

Pursuant to the decision of the Council of Deans No. (2), dated 12 August 2013 regarding the Academic Year 2013-2014 tuition fees, the Dean of Student Affairs Prof Abdulgadir Ahmed Osman directed all deans to adhere to the decision issued in this concern and be guided accordingly. He also referred to the previous directive regarding the 20% discount offered to orphan students, 20% to brothers, and 15% to sons of retired employees so as to enable all students to complete their registration on time. “Document attached”.

Sudan University of Science & Technology Arranges the Annual Ramadan Breakfast for Foreign Students
Pursuant to the wish of Foreign Student Organization, the Deanship of Students Affairs has arranged the Annual Breakfast during the month of Holy Ramadan for foreign students. The event has taken place at SUST main Administration building and was attended by twenty (20) students from eight (8) African and Asian countries enrolled in different universities in Sudan. The Director of Foreign Student Organization and executive members of his office, Dean and Deputy Dean of Students Affairs Deanship, in addition to other dignitaries attended the event. The Director of Foreign Student Organization Dr. Hisham addressed the attendees and extended his deep thanks to SUST and its Management for the close care they give to foreign students and for offering them the chance to obtain scholarship opportunities completely free of charge. On his part, the Dean of Students Affairs gave a motivational speech that lifted the hearts of students and gave them great hopes for a bright and successful future.
